I once heard from a very reliable source that "nothing will take the place of perseverance: not genius, not talent, not luck", and to be honest, i really liked the sound of it, because it makes a lot of sense. But I'll never listen--I coast through life on all three (my mother always said that I was a dreamer, but Willy Wonka always said the world needed more dreamers, and he was a great man).
