Library Databases

know what you’re getting and where the
  information is coming from.
Need to Find a Book?
              It’s EASY!
• Find the “OPAC” icon on your
  computer’s desktop and double click.
• You can then do a search for Author,
  Title, Subject, or Keyword…
• Be sure to check your spelling. You must
put in CORRECT information to get out
  correct information
what’s NEW?
• Lots of new books! All new books will be marked
with a bright colored bookmark. There are also
book reviews written by other students on RED
  bookmarks.
• College Corner for college and career research.
• Some reference books and popular books are kept
behind the reference desk. You must ask for
permission to check out one of these books.
• A Library Catalog (or OPAC) is installed on every
computer so you can look up books on your own.
