This document describes the Lions Club of Howrah Greater District 322B2's Food for Life Programme, a permanent activity that provides food to beneficiaries. The programme started in 2003 and identifies beneficiaries in need. It costs around Rs. 5400 per person annually to fund the programme. Individuals can contribute Rs. 450 for one month, Rs. 2700 for six months, or Rs. 5400 for a full year to support the programme. The programme has received recognition at the International Convention and others are encouraged to implement similar programmes in their districts to help those in need.
