Steuern vermeiden und was
dagegen zu tun ist
Steuervermeidungsstrategien multinationaler Unter-
nehmen kosten den österreichischen Staat jährlich
EUR 1,3 Mrd. Dieser Policy Brief beleuchtet die
wirtschaftlichen und verrechnungstechnischen
Grundlagen für diese Steuervermeidung. Außerdem
werden Politikansätze diskutiert, um Steuerver-
meidung einzudämmen. Neben der internationalen
Koordinierung und Reform von Steuerberechnungs-
Formeln wird dabei die Rolle einer aktiveren Wett-
bewerbspolitik betont.

/ Internationale Koordinierung wäre die
wirkungsvollste Maßnahme, um Steuer-
schlupflöcher für multinationale Unternehmen
zu schließen.
