ABOUT
Team Colors United selected the Milton Area Youth Center for the
hope and positive impact they provide to the children of our future!
MAYC is an after-school drop-in-center for students in grades 6
through 9 in the Milton Area School District.
Started in 2011, MAYC has provided fun, productive activities in a safe
social environment for many of Milton’s youth.
MAYC has 135 students registered at
the Center, with anywhere from
1-30 kids there any given night.
• Hot meals and
snacks
• Home work
assistance
• Individualized tutoring
• Fun, educational
activities
• Sports, crafts, &
tournaments
• Electronic
entertainment
• Pool, ping pong, table
games
• Community service
opportunities
What MAYC provides:
Why is MAYC important?
 Kids need a SAFE and POSITIVE place to keep them off the streets
and out of trouble.
 Kids need a FREE hot meal and snack every day so they do not go
hungry or have to worry about where their next meal will come from.
 Kids need to be engaged in their community in a positive helpful way.
YOUTH CRIME DOWN 16%
Kids need to THRIVE, not just SURVIVE!
Allow us to share some testimonials!
With no state funding or assistance
from other agencies, MAYC relies
solely on the community for support.

REFLECTIONS
A special THANK YOU to our Title Sponsors.
Your Contribution is greatly appreciated!
Why Get Involved:
Amy Kenyon:
MAYC is a great resource for students as it provides a variety of activities, homework help,
and a comfortable atmosphere that is accepting of everyone!
Beth Wallace:
MAYC is a wonderful organization that is empowering the children of our future. I am proud to
be a part of Team Colors United and the MAYC project.
Ethan Lee:
MAYC provides safe and beneficial after school programming for Milton area students that
with community support can continue to fill a necessary niche. I hope our Leadership
Development Project will help MAYC build financial stability so that they can continue to
provide great programming and opportunities for Milton students for many years to come.
Why Get Involved:
Jessica Dobratz:
MAYC Before joining LDA,I did not know MAYC existed . Luckily some of my team members
were involved with supporting MAYC prior to LDA, and were able to explain to our team how
MAYC supports the Milton community and it's youth . MAYC offers kids many unique
opportunities, and I am happy to help our LDA team support such a great organization in any
way I can.
Mike Davis:
MAYC is a positive force in the Milton community. By providing opportunities to learn, express
themselves creatively, and a meal, MAYC helps fill the gaps in the lives of Milton’s youth. As a
member of the community, it is my duty to help those in need, and I want to guarantee the youth
of tomorrow have a place to turn when they are in need.”
Teresa Riesterer:
MAYC is dedicated to improving the lives of students in the Milton Community. It is my hope
that Team Colors United can help MAYC secure sustainable donations so MAYC can continue
to support our youth for years to come!
The Milton Area Youth Center is solely
funded from the hearts
of the community.
Without your support,
we are just a dream
and a dire need is left unmet.
