Psalms 100 Essay
The Greeks believe David wrote Psalms 100. It's a psalm of praise for the Lord's faithfulness to His
people. This is the only Psalm bearing this exact title. I believe psalms 100 is split into three
identifiable sections: singing, thanksgiving, and expressing the everlasting truth that the Lord is good.
The first section would be singing and unlike most psalms, psalms 100 is still sung today with the
title of Make a Joyful Noise. With the availability of psalms and hymns we must "Come before his
presence with singing" and worship to heaven where praise has absorbed many prayers (Psalms
100:2).
The theological theme and second identifiable section of Psalms 100 is Thanksgiving. This
gratifies praise to the Lord for the blessings received; they offered the Lord thanksgiving for who
he was and what he had done. If we continue to be receivers of mercy we must also be givers of
thanks. Mercy lets us "Enter into his gates with Thanksgiving" (Psalms 100:4).
The last identifiable section expresses the everlasting truth that the Lord is good. This is beheld in

In her killing of Homer, she is holding onto the past– she is attempting to hold on to the relationship
that she and Homer once had, or she wished that she had. She keeps his corpse lying in bed next to
her, which is implied when it was "noticed that in the second pillow was the indentation of a head"
and a "long strand of iron–gray hair" (78). Emily's inability to let go of the past has been
exemplified in the examples of her refusal to pay taxes and her murdering of Homer. However, the
true cause of her inability to let go of the past lies in her conflict with in herself.
Faulkner wrote "A Rose for Emily" with the intent to focus on the tragedy of man's inner conflict, as
well as outer. The two examples given are perfect in demonstrating these two types of conflicts. In
the first, Emily is in conflict with her surroundings, in which the town officials are trying to tax her.
In the second, Emily is in conflict with herself. She "knew that you do not murder people. She had
been trained that you do not take a lover. You marry, you don't take a lover" (80). Emily tries to
embrace the tradition and background of getting married, having a family, and being in love.
However, these aspirations soon caused her to break down when Homer was going to leave. These
conflicts, most importantly the one within herself, strongly impacted Emily to be unable to let go of

to an end I feel like I grown and learned many techniques more than ever. I came to Cleveland State

world liberally peppered with the deaths of young teens didn't turn too many heads after season one,

Clarke spent approximately the last season and a half embroiled in one way or another with Finn,

Stress is something that affects many people each and every day. Life is full of hassles,
deadlines, frustrations, and demands. For some people stress is so common it is a way of life.
Stress can be very harmful and or helpful. It could help motivate you to meet a deadline and
perform a task under pressure. Stress can also be very harmful, such as memory problems,
moodiness, aches and pains, and eating more or less.
So what is stress? Stress is a normal physical response that happens when you feel threatened or
upset. When you feel that you are in danger whether it is real or imaged. Your body has a response
when stress occurs and it is a way of actually protecting you. Many times, stress helps people stay

Stress can affect the mind, body, and behavior. These affects could cause your relationships with
others can be affected with your girlfriend, parents, or anyone else who is significant in your life.
Stress has many different symptoms the most often and most common is having a headache. On
your body the effects of stress are muscle tension or pain, chest pain, and fatigue. The effects of
stress on your mood is anxiety, restlessness, and lack of motivation or focus. Finally, the effects of
stress on your behavior is overeating or under eating, drug or alcohol abuse, and social withdraw.
Since anyone at any age can be stressed there is no certain population that is effected the most. I
would say that teenagers get stressed easily due to school, spots and or jobs. The thing that
stresses most high school student out is picking and choosing what they are going to do after
high school and what college they will be going to if any. People a little bit older after college could
be stressed by trying to find a job or trying to find or support a family. Older people could be stressed
if they are running out of money but besides that older people are probably the least stressful people
in are population.
Stress is not only affected in the work place and at home, it is also affected during sports. There is a

I felt the biggest knot in my throat as i tried holding in my tears. Once I couldn't hold back my
tears anymore, I felt a shadow of people over me. It was the most comforting, hurtful crowd ever to
surround me, my team. I opened my eyes and saw every one of their faces and thought that I was
letting them down. They were all asking if I was okay and I couldn't help but stand up and walk
it off. I walked to the bench with the feeling of a knife going straight in through one side of my
ankle and out the other. I thought about what I can do to keep practicing. I got up, limped all the
way to the trainers room and asked them to tape it as tight as they can without it hurting me.
Walking back out on to the field, where my team is still practicing, I sucked it all up and pulled
my coach aside. I explained to him how it only hurt at the moment and a little after I walked it off.
Inside, I was dying of pain. He told me to run around for a little and if I felt comfortable I can join
the practice again. I felt like it wasn't such a big deal so I got back on the field and started running

The movie Wall–E by Walt Disney has greatly depicted this problem that is happening in our
modern world. Though the society in the Axiom is not the same as our society nowadays, we are
heading there. Our social interaction are now becoming more reliant on technologies. People talking
on the screen day and night, without knowing that they are becoming detached from the real world.
We start to lose our own feelings for each other, we start to forget our own value in life. Thus, the
real–life interactions are on its way to become a strange thing because we do not want to see each
other. We created technologies so we can get closer to each other. Indeed, we created our own tragic
flaw – we respect these devices more than we respect each other, and we are virtually becoming
machines. The two characters in the movie, John and Mary, could have been the only ones that
