The university will be hosting an informational
meeting on Monday, 9/21 at 7pm.
The meeting will be held at Punahou School’s
Wo International Center.

6. COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS:
Loyola Marymount University (CA), Gonzaga
University (WA), University of Hawaii-West
Oahu, Pepperdine University (CA), St. Mary’s
College (CA), and Vanderbilt University (TN).
Sign-up and get permission 2 days prior to
visit.
7. COLLEGE PRESENTATIONS (CON’T):
Get the permission form signed by your
teacher. Permission forms are on Family
Connections/Naviance site under ‘’document
library”.

8. NORTHWEST COLLEGE TOUR:
Registration is still being accepted for this tour
during Fall Break.

students have already signed up but there’s
still room for more.

9. GRADE 12:
The Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program
(formerly Junior Miss) is now seeking senior class
candidates for its 2016 program.
Earn scholarships, develop skill for success and make
lifelong friends.
Last year, graduate Megan Garcia received a scholarship
she used for her college education at Gonzaga
University.
10. BASKETBALL:
There will be a meeting tomorrow at 3:15pm in
Rm. A222 for all girls in grades 7-12 interested
in playing.
11. SOCCER:
There will be a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at
4:00pm in the Conference Room for all girls in
grades 7-12 interested in playing.
12. NHS TUTORING CENTER:
The Center will be open to students beginning
today. Walk-in appointments are available
every day, during lunch and after school.
For now, tutoring will be held in the
Conference Room until further notice.
13. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
There will be a meeting in Room A210 tomorrow during lunch
to learn about volunteer and paid positions with the YWCA
After-school program at Ali`iolani School.
A representative from Big Brothers/Big Sisters will explain
how students can apply to become a Big Brother or Big
Sister at Ali`iolani.
14. ST. LOUIS HOMECOMING:
Students in grades 8-12 who are interested in applying for
the homecoming court must attend a meeting in Mrs.
Normand’s office-- either tomorrow at 3:00pm or Tuesday,
Sept. 8 during morning recess.
Completed application forms are due no later than Thursday,
Sept. 10.
15. WINDWARD (KAMAAINA) BUS SCHEDULE:
Bus pickup after school is at 2:45pm every
day, except Wednesday.
Wednesdays are at 2:15pm.
16. LOST AND FOUND:
Please check High School Office’s Lost & Found cabinet if
you have lost anything on campus.
Items such as: lunch bags, hydro flasks, water bottles,
prescription glasses, books, etc., are among the things that’s
been turned in. All items left here by the end of this week,
will be donated or discarded.
17. THE LANCERS LATELY:
Don’t forget to tune in tomorrow during Period 1 for the
latest “Lancers Lately” newscast.
