3. These guys are educational blogging
experts from Australia! I have included
them in my Personal Learning Network
because I believe it is beneficial to take
note of technology being used in
classrooms internationally. I may find
something I want to use in my own
classroom!
4. I have included 21st Century Teacher in my
PLN because it keeps me updated on the
latest issues and announcements in the
educational world! For example, right now
they have been discussing an article
entitled “Are we overloading our
students?” Gives me lots to think about!
5. Being a drama major, it is important for me
to keep updated in the theatre
community! New Works festival is put on
every year by the U of A and allows new
playwrights to produce their work. I have
included them in my PLN because when I
am a drama teacher I want to be able to
offer my students endless
opportunities, such as getting involved with
New Works!
6. During the past few weeks I have tried to
keep up-to-date on my twitter PLN. I have
tweeted various bits of information I have
learned throughout the course, including
sharing my anti-bullying video!
