INTERFACE TO OTHER BANNER SYSTEMS Interface to the Banner Finance System The Advancement Interface to Finance provides an automated flow of pledge and gift information from Banner Advancement to Banner Finance. It also allows pledges, gifts and dues data to flow automatically to a site-specific finance system via a generic feed table. Interface to the Banner Human Resource System This interface allows for deductions from payroll in Banner HR to become gifts/installment payments in Banner Advancement. The interface runs two ways: Banner Advancement first feeds pledges to Banner HR, and then Banner HR feeds the deductions back to create the gift/installment payment records. Interface to the Banner Student System This interface adds records to Banner Advancement from Banner Student that define individuals as constituents, and updates information on existing constituents. The interface selects individuals who meet criteria based on the values entered.

GRADUATE/ALUMNI SERVICES Graduate/Alumni Services is designed for HCT Alums to share their after graduation information with HCT and their batch mates My Interests HCT Alums can share with HCT their interests or activities they like to do now My Directory Preferences This feature enables HCT Alums to control the display of their profile to other Alums and Alumni Officers. Find a Classmate Find a Classmate helps HCT Alums to reestablish their contacts with their classmates or batch mates. Life After HCT HCT Alums are given 2 options under this feature, to add their class notes and to view other alums class notes.

25. GRADUATE/ALUMNI SERVICES Respond to a Survey Alums can use this facility to respond to those simple surveys set by Alumni Officers. My Contact Details Alums can use this facility to update their contact information like Address, Telephone number, email address etc if it has changed after they graduated from HCT. Post/Edit Job Vacancies This facility can be used by HCT Alums to post any vacancies available in the company or organization they are working in. Search for Jobs All alums can use this feature to search for all the opportunities posted by other alums, HCT Alumni Officers Give Back to HCT HCT Alums can express their interest in volunteer opportunities through this option.

GRADUATE/ALUMNI SERVICES My Career Profile This feature enables alums who are job seekers to set up their job profile and they can also specify whether HCT Alumni Officers can share their profile with employers and other interested organizations. My Career Success This feature can be used by HCT alums to share their career information with HCT. My CV HCT alums can upload their CV here and can specify whether they allow to share this CV with employers. Live Mail HCT alums get a lifelong email account (id@alumni.hct.ac.ae) and the username and initial password to access live mail is displayed to alums.

28. ALUMNI OFFICER SERVICES Alumni Officer Services is designed for HCT Alumni Officers to stay in touch with our alums and also to help them in their career. View/Add Employer Discussion Notes/Details Alumni Officers can use this option for maintaining the existing relationships the college has with the current and potential employers. Search for Graduates and Employers This search function helps them to access details on their graduates or employers by their name, assigned ID and a variety of descriptive details Search for Jobs Alumni Officers can search jobs advertised through Banner Alumni by using the search criteria. Post/Edit Job Vacancies Alumni Officers can post job vacancies for any of the employers in our database here.

29. ALUMNI OFFICER SERVICES Review Class Notes Alumni Officers can use the ‘Review Class Notes’ to review the class notes entered by their college alums and can then publish them to other graduates. Graduate Employment Module Alumni Officers can use this feature to contact their graduates and to get info about their current working status for HCT to derive its working graduate’s statistics. Send Employers Graduates’ CV Alumni Officers can search for their campus alums CV based on different criteria and can select and sent alums CV to employers based on their request for CV’s. View Sent/Hired Graduates CV This acts like a track record for Alumni officers where they can track the alums CV’s that they have sent to the employer as hired or not.

30. ALUMNI OFFICER SERVICES Review Job Postings Alumni officers can review the job postings done by alumni and can then publish the jobs to other alums. Graduation Ceremony Attendance Confirmation Alumni officers can use this option to track the recent graduates who will attend the graduation ceremony organized by HCT. Graduate Survey Completion on behalf of graduate Alumni officers can use this option to fill in the graduate survey on behalf of the graduate if they are unable to login to the survey or by some urgency cannot do it online. Reset Graduate Password Alumni Officers can use this option to reset graduates password if their password expired or they forgot their password.

31. ALUMNI OFFICER SERVICES Alumni Information Collection Tool HCT alumni officers are constantly in touch with our alums and need an effective tool to update their personal, career and academic information and finally achieved it with this option. Reports Various reports related to alumni data is available for alumni officers. Graduate Survey Statistics Distinguished Alumni Report Graduate Survey Detailed Statistics etc…
