Your personal appearance is what people see first, so take pride in how you look. </li></li></ul><li>#2 – Information Technology<br />Every worker needs to have at least a basic level of skill with modern technology just to be able to function<br />Most companies see new technology as the means to increase profit margins and to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace.  It is important to strive to learn and keep up with the growing trends of information and technology. <br />
  22. 22. #3 – Information Handling<br />Information Overload is our every day professional life….<br />It’s common for most professionals to “wear many hats”. It is easy to become overwhelmed. <br /><ul><li>Make sure you have clear direction from a supervisor on what your priorities should be.

  24. 24. When given a task, repeat it back to make sure there are no misunderstandings
  25. 25. If you become overwhelmed, let your supervisor know so you can figure out together what your next step should be.
  26. 26. Keep in mind, everyone has a lot to do. Take it one task at a time and you’ll be fine. </li></li></ul><li>#4 – Multi-tasking<br />Multitasking in as efficient way of completing several tasks at once. But is multitasking really beneficial? <br />Most employers would say YES. However, if you’re going to multitask, you need to be organized!<br /><ul><li>Keep a notebook

  29. 29. Recap your day to make sure nothing was missed

  36. 36. The group should have a clear goal
  37. 37. There should be a result driven structure

Must have unified commitment</li></li></ul><li>#7 – Continuous Learning<br />Continuous education is necessary for survival in today‘s world!<br />As technology and society progresses, education must progress as well. <br />Strive to take at least one training class a year<br />If courses offer certification, try to achieve it<br />Keep your certifications current<br />Research education outside of your current training<br /><ul><li>Be open to training outside of your current career
