managing the engineering team and overseeing mechanical staff who install, test, diagnose, repair and
commission the mechanical equipment
• Coordinating with all engineering staff and Scheduling staff assignments
• Providing technical assistance to the Project Manager in contract matters, change orders and site
superintendence
• Governing all the mechanical activities (erection / installation / commissioning)
at site with regards to progress, compliance with the Contract,

Monthly Progress Reports and Project completion status report

• Review and approve Contractor’s mechanical work method statements,
Site related mechanical design and engineering matters

conformities and assure incorporation in the asbuilt drawings
• Ascertaining and witnessing mechanical inspections and reviewing the related reports
• Giving assistance to client (NTPC) during performance tests and trail run
workout of mechanical quantities for progress survey
• Advising and guiding the Employer’s mechanical counterpart engineer
• Managing the project documentation archive,
