Cock Crow

Peter, after the Cock crow thrice you shall deny me….
Do you remember when Yahshua spoke the above words to Peter. How many of you, like I,
thought this scripture actually meant a chicken crowing three times? In the biblical movie of
Jesus, there’s a scene showing a literal chicken crowing after the character of Simon Peter denied
Yahshua. Daughters of ABBA (father), once you began to know Yahshua and his Jewish Culture,
you will understand that his ways are really not like ours nor his speech. He was Hebrew,
therefore, he spoke in Hebrew. As we can see in the synoptic gospels (Matthew Mark and Luke),
majority of his words were parables. He used the foolish things to confine the wise! In the
synoptic gospels, he spoke in parables which are called HEBREW IDIOMS.
HEBREW IDIOMS is one of Jesus favorite ways of teaching. Let me give you an example of an
English idiom that you may be familiar with; “Eat your heart out”. You and I know that this
doesn’t literally mean the way it is presented. Many of the Idioms Yahshua used in his teaching
can only be understood only when properly interpreted in Hebrew text.
Therefore, the saying of the Cock Crowing thrice in scripture through Hebrew eyes, is an actual
Jewish Rabbi who called out for prayer three times daily. (Morning, noon and night). He was nick
named the Cock that crowed.
