Why are the benefits of hosting on-site
trainings?
On-site trainings allow you to have face to face
time with coaches. Coaches are able to ask
questions and get to know program
administrators and each other. On-site trainings
also allow coaches who are not as comfortable
using the computer an opportunity to complete
the training.
NAYS COACH TRAINING ON-SITE
44
45. nays.org
How can we host an on-site training?
A representative from your organization has the
ability to host on-site trainings for your coaches.

Youth Sports. You will need to allow a minimum
of three hours to administer the NAYS Coach
Training depending on the size of your group.
45
NAYS COACH TRAINING ON-SITE
46. nays.org

NAYS does not send a trainer. Someone from
your organization will facilitate the training.
However the trainers/instructors are on the

completion of the training, you are not permitted
to deviate from the training procedures.
46
NAYS COACH TRAINING ON-SITE

How can we host an on-site training?
First, you will schedule a time, date and
location for your training and notify your
officials. Then, the lead contact from your
Member Organization places the order for
videos and materials through the Order
Materials feature in the Member
Organization account, by phone or by
email.

What are our responsibilities after the
training?
After the training takes place, the training
facilitator or lead contact completes the required
paperwork and submits it along with any unpaid
membership fees to NAYS Headquarters. This
can be done either through your account, by
email, fax or mail. Keep in mind, your officials’
membership and insurance benefits are only
valid once training rosters and fees have been
submitted to and processed by the NAYS
national office.
