Final paper for my McGill MBA. Having a strong interest in the Tokyo startup ecosystem and having experienced the vibrant startup ecosystem in Montreal, I wanted to understand the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the ecosystem in Tokyo.
The conclusion was that the Tokyo ecosystem scored worst in support from banks, taxation policies for startups and investors, opportunities to collaborate with large companies, ease of hiring employees, access to angel investors, quality of venture capitalists and perception of family members towards working as an entrepreneur. It scored best for number and quality of events for entrepreneurs and venues for people to meet and network.

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202

product of asset and credit booms that eventually turn into busts. This booms can be identify in time but no one still has an answer of why

and evolutionThe subprime crisis is an over studied topic studied by a vast number of thinkers trying to establish the cause and to find the
culpable for the greatest economic collapse since great depression. Trying to point out a single cause as the root of the crisis is however
impossible as our current situation is the results of a set of political, economic and social policies. A lot of literature is dedicated to the
subprime crises subject, all finding guilt in the management and moral hazard existent in the American economy. It all started on the
American continent and soon became viral thru all the world's economies. The interdependence of countries created a wave effect, so all
the symptoms of the crises could be seen in different time periods, in the whole world. The growths catches a faster pace with the help of

In order to formulate suitable strategies for the company, I have practiced Prescriptive Corporate Strategy. I also have used the TOWS

have expansions strategies in India and China.
To conclude, I would like to say that CDL has immense opportunities and necessities for global expansion considering their good financial

Each evaluation model has its own strengths and weaknesses so it cannot meet and cannot be suitable for all cases. As per McCoy &

Training effectiveness refers to the objectives or the goals were set to achieve after the training program. According to Bates & Coyne,
training effectiveness is all what achieved from the training program applied on the workplace (Bates & Coyne, 2005). As per Hung,

Supply is limited, there are only just over 360 bungalows in Sentosa Cove and there will be no more Sentosa Cove land released for villa
building.
Whilst there are more villa viewings in Sentosa Cove is higher this year than last, the volume of sales is very much less than that prior to
the introduction of the Total Debt Servicing Ratio framework. In the year to date six bungalows, including the recent Lakeshore View sale,
have been sold, in 2014 only three sales transactions took place on Sentosa Cove bungalows. There were 18 sales transactions for Sentosa
Cove villas in 2013 and 23 in 2012 but in 2010 and 2009 there were 54 and 36 sales respectively, after which sales activity in the area
slowed to 24 in 2011, due to the government beginning its actions to cool Singapore's the property market.
On a lighter note, a property insider says that buyers have the advantage in the current market, when there is the opportunity lower prices
rather than when the market is more buoyant and sellers will have higher expectations.
Although bungalow sales at Sentosa Cove are slow the leasing market has been busy. Tenants are foreign nationals mainly from Western
countries taking two to three year leases, with rentals between 20,000 and 30,000 per month according to the bungalow's situation, size
and frontage. Tenants are mainly high ranking company executives.
