AIESEC is a global nonprofit organization founded in 1948 that arranges internships for students around the world. It has over 86,000 members across 113 countries and places over 20,000 interns annually, including 1,500 in Germany. AIESEC offers two main programs - long term internships from 4-18 months through their Global Talent program, and shorter term volunteer experiences from 1-2 months through their Global Citizen program. The organization provides support for students throughout the application and placement process, including assistance with visa paperwork, housing, and an intercultural seminar.
