7. Polish President
Lech Waลฤsa - a Polish politician, trade-union
organizer, and human-rights activist. A charismatic
leader, he co-founded Solidarity and the Soviet bloc's
first independent trade union, won the Nobel Peace
Prize in 1983, and served as President of Poland
between 1990 and 1995
8. Polish scientist
Marie Skลodowska-Curie - was a Polish
physicist and chemist, working mainly in France. She
was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. Her
achievements included a theory of radioactivity and the
discovery of two elements, polonium and radium.
10. Polish sportsmen
Adam Maลysz - is a former ski jumper, one of the
most successful in the history of the sport. The most
important of his successes are 4 individual Olympic
Games medals, 4 individual World Championships gold
medals (all-time record), 4 individual World Cup titles
(all-time record), 39 individual competition wins and 92
podiums in total.
11. Robert Kubica
He`s a Polish racing driver. He became the first Polish
driver to compete in Formula One. Between 2006 and
2009 he drove for the BMW Sauber F1 team, promoted
from test driver to race driver during 2006.

We usually eat milk with cornflakes or
sandwiches with butter, cheese or ham,
somentimes eggs and sausaes. We drink tea or
coffee.

Meat patty usually served with fried beets and
potatoes.
