CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) is a tool that provides different software to help teach languages in a more dynamic and interactive way, making information gathering easier. The teacher's role is to advise and coach students, providing feedback, acting as a guide rather than a director. Teachers must be experts in pedagogy and knowledgeable about current computer hardware and software. Students can learn at their own pace through self-study on their keyboards and research their own topics of interest, as long as they are sufficiently motivated. Technology plays a role in continual evolution and providing self-access to information, helping make language learning easier and more instructive than traditional methods.
