  2. Roles and Responsibilities From June 2013 till now: Senior Document Controller  Amer Group – Porto October, Egypt. With the following duties:  Plans, direct, and coordinate preparation of project documentation, (engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure compliance with contract requirements).  Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with Quality Procedures.  Attend meeting with engineers and concerned parties to discuss project, documents, prepare documents, or modify schedules.  Establish and maintain a center to control all documents by making it available in the database system and accessible even in the network throughout the project.  Responsible for uploading of all correspondences and submittals into the Document Management database program as well as distribution to the Engineers for their information, record and / or necessary action.  Responsible for controlling the reference numbers of all outgoing correspondence such as letters, memorandums, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and all submittals and transmittals to be used by the Secretary.  Establish and update the register, maintain and distribution of all submittals received from the contractor and/or from the client such as, Submittals of Drawings, Materials’ Submittals, Subcontractor’s Approval, Method Statement, Inspection Requests and other submittals, to ensure the proper monitoring of the documents.  Responsible for the preparation and distribution of weekly summary report of under review submittals and letters to the Manager for information and necessary follow-up with the respective Engineers.  Ensure that an adequate, safe and secure filing and archiving system is established and maintained, in both softcopies and hardcopies for the efficient retrieval of documentation and data throughout the life of the project. With the following duties:  Determine documentation required for each project phase, applying knowledge of engineering processes.  Schedules due dates for drawings, specifications, software, technical manuals, and other documents.  Coordination with the Reviewers and contractors.  Numbering System for all Project Participants.  Prepare status weekly report to every head of department and director.  Shop drawing Correspondence (internal & external) &Coordination for Civil, Structures, Architectural, Resources and Environments, Electrical, Mechanical& Builder Works Bulk up & download.  Uploading, registering and distributing all in-coming Mails/Documents/Drawings through the Document Control Management System.  Communicate effectively and positively with document originators, users and project/client staff  Regarding document status, retrieval and any other requests as maybe assigned by the DC Lead.  Performs other administrative responsibilities associated with the project as may be appropriate. With the following duties:  Follow up the construction drawings status between the owner, consultant and our design team.  Follow up the material submittal statues.  Manage the RFI’s and inspection request statues with quality department.  Manage the incoming and outgoing invoices.  Managing documentation system and mambring for all departments.  Producing weekly statues report for all drawings and documents.  Data entry, filling for all documents, daily circulation of these documents by the concerned section, participation in the preparation of weekly report quality control report.
