2. Iron man 1 Vs X-men Origin: Wolverine
Superhero, a man or women with ability and superpower that can save the mankind
when they are in danger. The superhero story used to come up with comic form. But
in this modern era, many of the superhero story are made as the films from past
Marvel and DC Comic such as Ghost Rider or Man of Steel. As for me, I am quite
curious with Marvel’s Iron man and Wolverine. Although they are the superhero from
the Marvel Comic but they still different with their origin, personality, ability and
weapons.
At first, all of the superhero were normal mankind but through some incident or
some instruct that made them became what they are. In Iron man, Robert Downey Jr
known as Tony Stark in the film ‘Iron man ‘. He was ambushed by the terrorist when
he demonstrate the new missile from Stark Industries ‘Jericho’. He was captured and
kept in the cave under the group ‘Ten Ring’. Stark and his fellow prisoner Yinsen
start planning and build the armor suit to escape. Unfortunately, Yinsen had sacrificed
himself to help Stark had enough time to start the armor and escape. To honour his
friend Yinsen’s memory and to make up the mistake he made, he had to be something
else, ‘Iron Man’. There is another superhero also from Marvel’s Comic but totally
different story, X-men Origins: Wolverine. The mutant who would come to be known
simply as ‘Logan’ a.k.a Wolverine. He and his brother spend a long time to become
the soldiers fighting in the world. After the some incident, Major William Stryker
approached them to become one of the member of the ‘Team X’. Shortly after Logan
leave the team because the member of team that include William Stryker have a
disregard for human life. Six years later, William Stryker asked him back to the team
but Logan refuse. After that he found his girlfriend dead body in the forest and he
knew that it is Victor who did it. He found Victor in the local bar but he lose the fight

3. and broke his claw. For revenge, Logan has become Wolverine. As you can see, Tony
Stark become Iron man is for honour his friend memory and make up his mistake but
Logan become Wolverine it just for revenge.
Being a superhero, personality is the most important thing because it decide
whether the people will become the hero or the villain. For Iron man, Tony Stark is a
billionaire and Philanthropist. It can be seen that he was not concern about the
problem that his weapons are used by the terrorist before he been capture by the ‘Ten
Ring’. After the capture incident, his personality change a bit. Tony Stark still like
always have the way out, but he will be serious in taking down the people who want
to kill him or harm the thing he loved or cared about. About Wolverine, Logan is a
person who always is hot-tempered. Because of his mutant power, he was not afraid
of death. After he lose his memory, he is very impatient to know who he is. Logan is
a hot-tempered person but he still take to heart about the human life. Both of them is a
totally different person but they still care about the human life.
Furthermore, superhero also possesses the abilities in their life. For Iron man, Tony
Stark don’t have the power. Unlike the other hero such as Thor can control the
lighting or Spider man got the web and spider sense. All he have is his intelligent and
armor. One of the proof is he can create the ‘arc reactor’ out of nothing in the cave
which even the top engineer can’t do with the advance implement. Tony Stark also an
expert engineer, he can create the armor, upgrade it and fix it. As the Wolverine, he
not like Tony Stark have the intelligent but he have few ability which can help survive
in the battle field. First, mutant healing. This ability can cause him to recover any
injuries even if he is head shot. Second, superhumanly acute sense, he can see far
greater distance and also can scent and track the target. As the battle expert,

4. Wolverine can survive in any battle with his ability. Eventhough Tony Stark may not
be great in battle but he can create new weapons and upgrades for his armor.
As last, being a superhero does not just need the ability only. Sometimes the
weapon will manipulate the battle. As for Tony Stark. He does not have the armor suit
at first, he just invent them himself. He creates a total of three armor suits in this film
which are Mark 1, Mark 2 and Mark 3. To use the armor, it also need the power
source ‘arc reactor’ which can be say as the only power source to start the armor in
this films. Mark 1 is his first armor suit he create in order to escape from the ‘Ten
Ring’. Mark 2 as a test flight model and it is the upgrade version of mark 1. Because
of the pressure and icing problem when flying, he eventually improve the exosystems
and use the gold titanium alloy from the seraphim tactical satellite to ensure the
fuselage integrity while maintaining power-to-weight ratio. So the Mark 3 is created
and it is armed with the weapon. For the Wolverine, his weapon is the Metal Claw. At
first, his claw is not metal. It just the bone claw and there are 6 retractable bone claw,
three in each arms. After his claw was break by Victor because of his revenge action.
He accept the skeleton operation to make his claw unbreakable with the
‘Adamantium’ metal.
In conclusion, what I can say is both of these superhero have their own personality,
ability, weapon. The most special thing to attract the audience is their origin because
the most important part to see the superhero born and let the audience have look
forward to the film release.
