ClickFWD LLC Copyright © 2010-2014 http://www.reviewsforjoomla.com JReviews Setup JReviews in just a few quick steps JReviews has hundreds of settings and tons of features, but you can get started fairly quickly and explore all the possibilities once you familiarize yourself with the setup process. JReviews uses the Joomla content system, so the first thing you need to do is create a few categories in Joomla that you want to use with JReviews. For ease of use, custom fields are grouped together and all groups can be re-used in different Listing Types. Lots of choices here: select lists, radio buttons, checkboxes, datepicker, website, email, text, textarea, code, numeric, banner and related listings. Choose the field groups you want to use, add the rating criteria, create some detail page widgets and override almost any global setting. Joomla categories are grouped together as a directory to display a nice overview of your setup to end users and to search engines. Let JReviews know which Joomla categories are part of the JReviews system and associate each category with a Listing Type and Directory. Create required Joomla menus and a few JReviews ones to display different types of pages.
