• My first thoughts and ideas of what to make
was either one of three things. Creating a
magazine focused on TV and Films, a video
game specific or nature centred magazine. I
knew one of these topics would be my
strongest and favourite to produce as I
thoroughly enjoy those medias and industries.
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• There are certain similar elements found in a lot of pictures
that I chose to put on my mood board that I think make for a
good magazine. For instance most magazine covers feature
bright colours that attract attention, and big bold mastheads
hence customers can quickly identify the brand.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• By looking at my mood board I can easily draw influence from
existing products and learn how to put those and similar
aesthetics to work in my front cover and double page spread

first write up my titles, subheadings
and articles to properly judge the size
and display of my pages
