inside is well planned for any purposes, like for meeting
   purposes, or any other.

As I walk through the lobby of the school, library is along
the way to other classrooms, which is easy accessible by the
pupils, the cafeteria is located at the end of the classrooms,
it is also accessible by the pupils easily when they want to
go to the cafeteria. There is no other office aside from the

Yes, the room is well lighted were all parts of the room
are visible, it is also well ventilated were in fact there are
units of air conditioner installed and a fans also are present.
My Analysis

How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact on the learning of the
students going to school? What are your conclusions?

With this kind of campus and classrooms in Naval SPED
Center, it really helps a big impact on the learning of the
pupils. I can say that this is a conducive for learning in the
basic education or in elementary. Because the learners in this
school are kids and the campus is good for their play time, and
the classroom is also conducive for learning. So this kind of
condition of a school will contribute a lot to the learning of
the students.

How does this relate to your knowledge of child adolescent development/ how does this
relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning?

This kind of campus and classrooms that Naval SPED Center
has, relates a lot in my knowledge on child and adolescent
development like in constructing a campus and structuring a
classrooms should consider the level of ability of the learner,
like if you are structuring classrooms for first grader, your
displays should be level on their age, the choices of color, and
displays to be posted.

This is also related to my knowledge in my facilitating
learning subject, were in learning environment is one of the
important thing to consider in facilitating the learning of the
students, because the environment also contribute to the
learning of the students.
My Reflection

 1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why
    not?

Yes, because, aside from the environment which is very
clean, it has the facilities which are very important for a
school to have and I could really feel that the school is a
    child-friendly one.

 2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?

A school campus which is conducive for learning is,
first and foremost, the environment is clean. It should
also be a child-friendly school. It should have the
complete school facilities such as library, speech
laboratory, computer laboratory and other facilities that
are also important or can help on the learning of the
pupil. And lastly a conducive for learning campus is the
people who are behind this campus; I mean the teachers,
principal and others they should also be child-friendly
people that the pupils will not be threatened by their
    presence.

 3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?

A classroom which is conducive for learning is well-
lighted and well-ventilated and has the proper sanitation.
It should also be a non-threatening classroom wherein the
pupils feel that they are accepted, they are not alone and
nothing is to fear about. And also, teacher should keep and
promote a sound and viable intellectual climate.

 4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
As a future educator, I can accomplish those things by
doing it into action and become a responsible teacher. I
have to show love and care to my pupils in order for them
to feel that they are important as an individual, for them
to feel that they really need to learn from me and that
studying is important. I make sure that what I have learned
in my preparatory study well be shared to them properly for
   them to learn also.

5. Write your Additional learning and insights here.

During my visit my observation at Naval SPED Center, I
really observed that pupils are really naughty “pasaway”
though the discussion is ongoing, though some of them are
interacting the discussion not seriously, with this king of
attitudes they show, as a teacher you only have to be very
patient, this the only thing that you can do in order to
   please this pupils.
My Portfolio

My Personal Illustration of an Effective School Environment

Though not my personal illustration, but for me this is the best
illustration of an effective School Environment, where everything is
just in one building, also to consider the safety of the learners
which is mostly kids. Facilities; like library, laboratories and
classrooms are just in there much accessible by the learner.

The community or neighborhoods of Naval SPED Center are private properties like residential houses, establishments and others. At the back of Naval SPED Center the only University in Biliran is Located, the Naval State University. The campus of the Naval SPED Center is beautiful; it has a wide campus for elementary pupils like them. The ground of the campus is green because of grasses, buildings are light yellow colors, and landscaping barriers are in color blue green. The condition of the buildings in their campus are still in good, I can say that its being maintain, and I believe the pupils here are safe when it come to the conditions of the buildings. Yes, the room is well lighted were all parts of the room are visible, it is also well ventilated were in fact there are units of air conditioner installed and a fans also are present. My Analysis How do the school campus and the classroom in particular impact on the learning of the students going to school? What are your conclusions? With this kind of campus and classrooms in Naval SPED Center, it really helps a big impact on the learning of the pupils. I can say that this is a conducive for learning in the basic education or in elementary. Because the learners in this school are kids and the campus is good for their play time, and the classroom is also conducive for learning. So this kind of condition of a school will contribute a lot to the learning of the students. How does this relate to your knowledge of child adolescent development/ how does this relate to your knowledge of facilitating learning? This kind of campus and classrooms that Naval SPED Center has, relates a lot in my knowledge on child and adolescent development like in constructing a campus and structuring a classrooms should consider the level of ability of the learner, like if you are structuring classrooms for first grader, your displays should be level on their age, the choices of color, and displays to be posted. This is also related to my knowledge in my facilitating learning subject, were in learning environment is one of the important thing to consider in facilitating the learning of the students, because the environment also contribute to the learning of the students.
  • 7. My Reflection 1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not? Yes, because, aside from the environment which is very clean, it has the facilities which are very important for a school to have and I could really feel that the school is a child-friendly one. 2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning? A school campus which is conducive for learning is, first and foremost, the environment is clean. It should also be a child-friendly school. It should have the complete school facilities such as library, speech laboratory, computer laboratory and other facilities that are also important or can help on the learning of the pupil. And lastly a conducive for learning campus is the people who are behind this campus; I mean the teachers, principal and others they should also be child-friendly people that the pupils will not be threatened by their presence. 3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning? A classroom which is conducive for learning is well- lighted and well-ventilated and has the proper sanitation. It should also be a non-threatening classroom wherein the pupils feel that they are accepted, they are not alone and nothing is to fear about. And also, teacher should keep and promote a sound and viable intellectual climate. 4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
  • 8. As a future educator, I can accomplish those things by doing it into action and become a responsible teacher. I have to show love and care to my pupils in order for them to feel that they are important as an individual, for them to feel that they really need to learn from me and that studying is important. I make sure that what I have learned in my preparatory study well be shared to them properly for them to learn also. 5. Write your Additional learning and insights here. During my visit my observation at Naval SPED Center, I really observed that pupils are really naughty “pasaway” though the discussion is ongoing, though some of them are interacting the discussion not seriously, with this king of attitudes they show, as a teacher you only have to be very patient, this the only thing that you can do in order to please this pupils.
  • 9. My Portfolio My Personal Illustration of an Effective School Environment Though not my personal illustration, but for me this is the best illustration of an effective School Environment, where everything is just in one building, also to consider the safety of the learners which is mostly kids. Facilities; like library, laboratories and classrooms are just in there much accessible by the learner.
