I went to the photography
room which is located in my
college. This where I took
photos of my classmate in his
football kit. I also went to
Upton park which is in East
ham to take photographs of
the stadium that is what is
used by West Ham.
8. My Topic
I am going to be talking about the premier league and how it has
surprised many fans. Last year Leicester were almost relegated, and
this year the odds on them winning the league were 5000/1
meaning they were favourites to get relegated, but they won the
league this season. I will be interviewing fans and asking what they
thought on the league, and what they think will happen next year.

• The Barclays Premier League season of 2015/2016 has come to an end. It has shocked many football fans and reasons for this are
being that last year’s champions Chelsea, were sitting near the relegation zone and then sacked world class manager Jose Mourhino.
However, the biggest shock was when last year’s strugglers Leicester City won the Premier League, and the other team that was
competing for the league title was Tottenham Hotspur, but they finished 3rd, under north London rivals Arsenal and this makes it 21
years since Tottenham have finished above Arsenal.
• Fans football also saw former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nisterooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive matches broken by
Leicester strike Jamie Vardy as he scored in 11 consecutive games. Although Jamie Vardy broke the record Harry Kane was still
awarded the golden boot as he scored 25 goals in the league.
• I interviewed a Manchester United fan on what he thought of the surprising season. He said that, “I am very shocked that Leicester
City have won the league as they were predicted 5000/1 to win the title, but no surprise that Aston Villa, Norwich and Newcastle
were relegated as they had poor started to the season”. I asked him what he thought of Manchester United’s performance and he
thought they were not good enough as they didn’t achieve top four, but won the FA cup and manager Louis Van Gaal was still sacked
as manager.
• I spoke to a Tottenham fan, he had to say that, “ we started the season very well, and we was challenging for the title until we
slipped up against West Brom, and Dele Alli got suspended for the rest of the season. We couldn’t even finish above Arsenal which
upset me a lot, and we ended getting thrashed by relegated team, Newcastle 5-1 whilst they had 10 men”.
• During the season, young English talent was getting praised as players such as Dele Alli, Jesse Lingard, Reece Oxford and Marcus
Rashford were recognised for first team performances at their clubs. Therefore I asked Chelsea u18 player Malakai Mars what he
thought on the season. He had to say, “I like the fact that a lot of young players are getting first team opportunities, and I hope I can
play first team one day”. He is an Arsenal supporter and thought they should’ve won the league from when the 2016 year began as
most of the teams were struggling and Arsenal were 5point clear. “I am glad we managed to finish above Tottenham but it is not good
enough as we didn’t end with a trophy and lost out to Leicester who don’t have world class players like Arsenal”.
