Many rural areas in the US where it was hard to read and get accurate
weather reports is now possible because people share pictures and
information via social media. Meteorologists then analyze the
information and can give real time updated weather reports. Even
though meteorologists find social media extremely helpful and a great
way to communicate they prefer their audience gets the actual weather
from weather apps rather than using facebook or twitter.
