ในหนึ่งสัปดาห์แบ่งวันออกเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ

Months เดือนต่างๆ

Year ปี ค.ศ. นิยมอ่านเป็นตัวเลข 2 จานวน เช่น
1999 = nineteen – ninety-nine
1985 = nineteen – eighty-five
1900 = nineteen hundred
การอ่านตัวเลข ปี ค.ศ. 2000
2000 = two thousand
2005 = two thousand and five
*สังเกต การอ่านปี หากเป็นปี ค.ศ. 2000 ขึ้นไปให้อ่านแบบปกติก็ได้
เลข 0 ให้อ่าน Oh - โอ

การอ่านวันจะใช้การอ่านแบบลาดับที่ คือ First Second Third Fourth และต้องมี The
นาหน้า การอ่านเดือนอ่านตามปกติ ส่วนการอ่านปีจะอ่านเป็นคู่ๆ ตัวอย่าง
June 28, 2011 - June the twenty-eighth , twenty eleven หรือ
two thousand eleven*
January 12, 2554 - January the twelfth, twenty-five fifty-four
1/04/99 = January the fourth, nineteen ninety-nine.
6/26/04 = June the twenty-sixth, two thousand and four.
8 October 1984 - The eighth of October, nineteen eighty-four
5 December, 1999 - The fifth of December, nineteen ninety-nine
4/1/99 = The fourth of January, nineteen ninety-nine.
