The remote work movement is a growing global phenomenon. More and more professionals are trading their offices and commute for a lifestyle that lets them work from anywhere on the map. But UX practitioners need to collaborate and communicate with team members, stakeholders and users more than other roles. Can we really design, research, gather requirements and communicate effectively when we're not in the same room? This talk provides insights into the habits, tools and workflows of Jenny, a UX Designer who has been working remotely for 7 years. You'll learn how to overcome the main issues around doing UX design and user research remotely, and how to ensure a smooth collaboration with team members and deliver projects successfully.
