Illegal Immigration is a global pandemic <ul><li>The poor of the world are voting with their feet </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Great Britain is flooded with mid-east Muslims </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Germany is awash with Turks </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>France is inundated with Colonial Muslims </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Holland is overwhelmed with Colonial immigrants </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>U.S. has experienced unprecedented illegal immigration for decades, because of government failure to act in a responsible way </li></ul></ul>
  4. 4. “ As California goes – So Goes The Nation” <ul><li>California has long been an early warning sign…an unwelcome canary in the U.S. political coalmine </li></ul><ul><li>Many styles, cultural changes, ethical & moral fads and political directions originate on the west coast </li></ul><ul><li>Because of liberal attitudes & unwillingness to control illegal immigration, California is undergoing an unprecedented demographic & cultural revolution & is in the throes of an immigration crisis </li></ul>
  5. 5. “ California is The Truth We know – Versus The Lie We Speak” <ul><li>Sounds like politicians on all sides of the immigration issue – federal, state & local, which prevent citizen action to correct the problem of illegal immigration </li></ul><ul><li>Solutions are possible – only if we: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Strip fact from fiction </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Reality from political correctness </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Corrupt politics from good government </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Uncover truth & understand the real problems </li></ul></ul>

What We Know & Don’t Know <ul><li>Hispanic population of the U.S. is 45 million, approximately 15 % </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Mexicans account for 2/3 or 66 % </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Half or 50 % of Hispanics live in two states </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>California – 13.7 million, Texas – 8.7 million </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>California Hispanic population has increased over tenfold in 30 years </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>2050 projections – U.S. Hispanic population increase to 25 %, California will be near 2/3 or 66 % Hispanic </li></ul></ul>

Immigration – Pro & Con <ul><li>Compassion – Might we do the same as illegal aliens, had we been born in a country with limited opportunity, face a life of destitution and seek a “way out” by any means available? </li></ul><ul><li>The flip side of Compassion – Many illegal aliens are not genuine, god-fearing, ethical and hard-working. Many are hardened criminals or gang members, transporting drugs for payment. Most are unskilled, un-educated, disease ridden, non-English speaking & bring a culture & mind-set foreign to the U.S., in search of free schooling, medical care & create a nation within a nation </li></ul>

Assimilation 1880 - 1920 <ul><li>Assimilation is the core of a unified, strong and vibrant nation. </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Legal immigrants adopt the language, culture, customs & traditions of the host nation </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Voluntary language immersion, autonomy from government assistance, rapid & eager acceptance of mainstream American culture & identity, adopt fashions, manners, slang expressions and blended in complete harmony with local habits </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Yet retain their familiar inherited customs creating a national cultural melting pot </li></ul></ul></ul>

Assimilation 1970 – 2007 <ul><li>Immigration assimilation in this time period has failed, due to disastrous government pampering, wrapped in political correctness </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Welfare & benefit programs </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Education to all students regardless of status </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Emergency medical care to everyone </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Protected by 48 Consulate General offices & advocacy groups (LaRaza, Maldef, Lulac) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Why assimilate when home & family is a step across the border, instead of an ocean away </li></ul></ul>

Government – Industry Involvement <ul><li>Both are villains in the destruction of immigrant assimilation </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Government (national, state & local) find power in mindless consensus </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Industry derives cheap labor, provides no benefits, little taxes & reaps high profits </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Both look askance at anything that poses an obstacle </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Both have little desire or interest to correct the problem & follow the will of the people </li></ul></ul>

Globalization – Creating Planet Assimilation <ul><li>The force of globalization is an amoral, brutally mercantilist, often unwelcome new world culture-of- consumerism </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Uniting the planet in an appetite for material things, & in the process, it’s dissolving the divides of bigotry, intolerance, race, class, language & culture </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Creating notions of entitlement: </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Social welfare programs, disability, workman’s compensation, head start, social security, medicare, medicaid, supplemental assistance, etc. </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>U.S. attitudes changed to few objections to racial integration, no institutional barriers, few cultural impediments to assimilation, destroying U.S. culture, tradition and sovereignty </li></ul></ul>

Mexican Influence <ul><li>Mexico’s economy is controlled by a few powerful elitists & monopolies, effectively stifling economic opportunity for the people </li></ul><ul><li>President Calderon states “Wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico”. </li></ul><ul><li>Near $23 billion in remittances annually, the number one item in the Mexican GDP </li></ul><ul><li>90 % of drugs enters the U.S., via Mexico </li></ul><ul><li>An entrenched legislature, corrupt civil service & rich powerful elitists will maintain the status quo </li></ul>

Illegal Immigration & Terrorism <ul><li>Our unsecured borders provide access for other than Mexicans (OTM’s), who may be terrorists </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Virulent cells of al Qaeda are in the Rio Grande valley & northern province of Sonora </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Tijuana harbors Hezbollah Muslim radicals </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>These “groups” use Latino gangs (MS-13) to transport them across the border for $30-50,000 per client, including passage, shelter and a bonus – a Mexican Matricula Card for identification </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The border is strewn with discarded Muslim prayer rugs, pages of the Koran, instructions in Arabic on how to cross the Rio Grande & beverage boxes with Farsi & Arabic letters </li></ul></ul>

Solutions <ul><li>Government must insure immigrants are: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>In the country legally, have means to sustain themselves economically, not a burden on society </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Be of good character, have no criminal records & contribute to the general well-being of the nation </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Authorities to have a record of each visitor, they do not violate visa status, do not interfere in politics </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Those entering with fraudulent documents, those aiding & abetting illegal entry will be imprisoned </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Authorities will suspend or prohibit admission when it is determined to be in the national interest </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Believe it or not, these regulations are from Mexican law, lets implement them immediately </li></ul>
