Specializing in tourism, retail, and e-commerce, the agency believes online marketing is essential for businesses to not be "invisible." While growing the agency, the founders aim to retain their personalized service and work as an extended part of each client's marketing team.

espite being in business just a
few short months, Brand Vision has already established a
presence both locally and internationally. After identifying a gap in
the market, Jeff Rufino and Mike van der
Heijden cemented their experience and 14year friendship by establishing the inbound
marketing agency in June this year. Offering services not previously available in the
region, their mission is to assist clients in
reaching their full online potential.
While both men are talented in their own
right, the combination is a winning formula. “We wanted to create that synergy
between our two backgrounds,” says Mike.
“There’s definitely a need in Cairns for
this type of service – especially now that
there’s more confidence in the area.” Jeff
also adds, “We have got both in-house and
agency side experience, so we know what
people expect, and we know how to meet
those expectations.”
Specialising in tourism, retail and ecommerce, both men agree that if you’re not
online, you’re invisible. “Our service is
not just about creating a brand, but how
you manage that brand online and interact with customers,” says Mike. And with
Cairns still being considered a “face-toface” town, Jeff says clients appreciate
being able to consult with them in person
“Work that formerly went to Melbourne or
Sydney is now being kept local.”
Now employing additional staff, the two
men hope to grow the office while retaining their personalised service. “Essentially
we are an extended arm of each clients’
marketing team, ”says Mike. “The advantage of what we do is that everything can
be measured, which is the beauty of online
marketing.”
