2. SECONDARY SCHOOL(Institute of SecondaryEducation) In Puerto del Rosario Secondary School you can study Secondary Education (from 12 to 16), Baccalaureate (Bachiller in Spanish) and Professional studies of medium degree of Cuisine and superior degree of Tourism.

3. The School is formed at the moment by approximately 94 teachers and has registered about 900 students. Some years ago it was the second greatest secondary school of the Canary Community. You can study three different Baccalaureate: Technological, Humanities and Sciences of the Health.

4. The School has approximately 45 classrooms. We have three technology workshops

11. When you enter the School, you find the porter’s office. It is the one that organizes the keys of the classrooms and where photocopies are made and projects are bonded, etc.

12. On the left side of porter´s office there is the secretary office where you can register and get informed about the school. In the main secretary office Mr. Manolo organizes places for students and makes lists of courses.

13. In thisroomyou can find the director - Carlos. He does everything related to the school because he has a lot of responsibility and he is the most important person at school.

14. In ourlibraryyou can readbooksongeography, history, biology, literature, butyou can alsostudy or do your homework. Within the library there are computers to search for information on things you need or to do a work.

15. Here is the staff room, this is where they have all their things for work and also they have a small part where they use computers.

16. This is an assembly hall. We use it for meetings and to make examinations. Also we use it for “The Movies Week”. It is a week in which we see films on a chosen subject, such as animation, terror, action, etc.

17. Also we have a cafeteria that opens at 10:15 where we can buy sandwiches, refreshments, water, sweets, etc. We can go during the break but sometimes we escape and go there during a class.

18. Our School has a patio for recreation (10: 45 - 11:15) and one sport field for the subject of physical education. In the patio we have a classroom that is the radio. We put music for the recreation during the school break and make interviews and many more activities.

19. This part is new in our school because it was divided to make a primary school and then removed and given to us again. We used to have more than 1000 students, but now we are about 900, because the professional studies of mechanic, electricity and health left.

20. The School opens at 7:55 and at 8 the bell rings for the first class. The day consists of 6 classes that finish at 14:00 and we have a half-an-hour break from 10.45 to 11.15. The classes last 55 minutes.!!!

21. Theschoolgarden This project is carried out by disabled people we have in school. Plant seeds, then water the plants and put them where they are already selling between teachers. This is great fun and a form of entertainment.

22. COMENIUS The teacher works in the comeniusnatalia assistant profesores. Realiza occasionally a class with each language course with the class estimated either German or English.

23. Host Service This service is available to anyone who comes new to the class colegio. grupoestoenseñan is responsible for the school to someone who comes and tells you to study places like the gym, the library ... this etc. Aparte , is also responsible to make murals for important days like the day of peace, the day the book, etc.
