We grow our herbs organically, using good agricultural practices.
 Planting trees:
They are parterned with Trees for the Future (TFTF), a US-based organization, for planting
trees across India. To date, we have planted over 2,50,000 trees.
 Biodiversity conservation:
It is working with various government bodies across India to conserve endangered
medicinal herbs.
 Project Abhiyan:
Himalaya provides technical assistance to farmers, and trains them in Good Agricultural
Practices, sustainable herb collection and organic farming.
 Prison Farming Project:
Himalaya is working with the local prison authority in Andhra Pradesh, India, to

 Himalaya Drug Company to hire 1,000 people, eyes Rs 2,500 crore revenue in
fiscal FY18.
Maintaining over 20 per cent compounded annual growth rate (CAGR), wellness
firm Himalaya Drug Company is looking at Rs 2,500 crore revenue next fiscal and
plans to hire around 1,000 people as it enters new verticals and expands
distribution network.
The homegrown firm had posted Rs 1,800 crore turnover last fiscal and is
expecting Rs 2,100 crore sales in 2016-17.
“We are expecting revenues of up to Rs 2,500 crore in the next fiscal FY18
maintaining a (CAGR) of over 20 per cent year-on-year,” Himalaya Drug Company
CEO Philipe Haydon said.
