I think that having technology in a classroom no matter how much of it is available will
be beneficial for all of the students involved. I think that it is important for the teachers
to be the ones making these decisions because they are the ones that see the children
every day and know what they need. Before the teachers get to make this decision
however I feel that they shouldn’t be allowed to make this decision until they are
knowledgeable about the technology and can teach their students. It wouldn’t be fair to
the students if their teachers were learning with them or couldn’t answer their questions.
To receive funding think you should have to put the time in to learn about them even if
you think you already know everything. I think that right now they aren’t included in the
decision making because the people who do make the decisions don’t think that they
wouldn’t know what was right for their students, when really they are. I feel that teachers

5. should be more involved even if they have to sit in a classroom to learn about it, it would
be beneficial to the students in the long run.
