- Diversity and Inclusion have simple definitions which every human being is capable of understanding, right? We’ve all (at one point or another) felt similar or different to others, we’ve all felt included or excluded… Reflecting on those experiences is important to remind us of how we want to be treated, and therefore should treat others.…okay, but what about student organizations? Consider the type of organization you want to be a part of – or consider the image you want to portray of your organization. What are they like in relation to others? Are they supportive, welcoming environments? What does the interaction look like between members or with prospective members? How do members communicate with one another? How are conflicts approached and resolved? Do members attempt to seek to understand one another?
