The benefits/virtues of reciting Holy Quran are very great. As a Muslim we should recite Holy
Quran Daily. In Ahadith and Quran it is mentioned about the virtues of reciting Holy Quran.
About the blessings of reciting Quran it is said in Hadith that:-
“Surely this Qur‟an is the rope of Allah, and a manifest Light (nur), and a beneficial cure.
Therefore, busy yourselves with the recitation of it, for Allah - The Mighty and Glorious –
grants the reward of ten good deeds to you for every letter which is recited.”

2. “Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said, “I have divided the prayer between Myself and my
servant equally and My servant shall be granted what he asked for.” Therefore, when the
servant says, „All praises and thanks are due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds‟, Allah says, „My
servant has praised Me.‟ When he says,‟The All-Merciful, the Most Merciful,‟Allah says, „My
servant has extolled Me.‟ When he says, „Master of the Day of Judgment,‟ Allah says, „My
servant has glorified Me.‟ When he says, „You Alone we worship and Your aid Alone do we
seek,‟ Allah says, „this is between Me and My servant and My servant shall have what he
requested.‟ When he says, „Guide us to the Straight Path, the Path of those whom You have
favored, not [the path] of those who have earned [Your] anger, nor of those who have gone
astray,‟ Allah says, „this is for My servant and My servant shall have what he asked for.”

Surah E Yaseen is the 36th
surah of Quran E Hakeem. This surah was revealed in Makkah and
has 83 versus. It is called the heart of Quran.

3. 1. When someone recites Surah E Yaseen one time he gets the reward of 10 time reciting
Quran as it is said in hadith that:-
“The Prophet Muhammad (Sallall Allahu Taala Alaihi Wasallam) said, Whoever
recited Surah Yasin would seem (In terms of reward) as if he had recited the Quran ten
times.” (MAQAL, TIRMIDHI)
2. The person who recites Surah E Yaseen in night gets Allah’s pleasure as it is said in Holy
Hadith that:-
“Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah‟s pleasure, Allah
would forgive him”
(Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Ibn Mardawaih)
3. The person who recites Surah E Yaseen his status is being raised in this world and also in
the next world.
4. The person who recites Surah E yaseen every night will die as Shaheed.
