Briefs of CNUT
The University has the certificate on the system of quality assurance
according to the international standard ISO 9001 and is a member of Magna
Chartia Uneversitatum.
The structure of the University includes 9 Faculties, 47 Departments, the
Centre of Postgraduate Education and Training, Postgraduate and Doctoral
Studies and 2 Colleges.
10690 students study at the University. The training is provided on 29
directions and 27 specialties.
The number of regular scientific-pedagogical workers is 518, among them
there are 75 Doctors, 270 Candidates, 68 young scientists.
There are 4 specialized Academic Councils for thesis defending on 7
specialties, one of them is for Doctors.

International Activity
The University is a participant of 17 international projects including 4
Tempus Programs:
1. «IEMAST» - «Establishing Modern Master Level Studies in Industrial
Ecology» (№517346, 2011 - 2015).
2. «IHSITOP» - Innovation hybrid strategy of IT-outsourcing partnership
with enterprises (№530319, 2012 – 2015).
3. «CABRIOLET» - «Model-Oriented Approach and Intelligent Knowledge-
Based System for Evolvable Academia-Industry Cooperation in Electronic
and Computer Engineering» (№544497, 2013 – 2016).
4. «BUSEEG-RU-UA» - «Acquiring professional and entrepreneurial skills by
education of entrepreneurial spirit and consulting beginners-entrepreneurs»
(№544202, 2013 – 2016).
The University has 7 own grants and 45 international agreements on
scientific-technical cooperation, in the frame of which 22000 euros is planned
to obtain.

Innovation and scientific-technical
activity
5 state budget (2 fundamental and 3 applied) and economic contract
scientific research works are being performed in 2015.
5 scientific editions in technical, economic and social-legal issues are
published.
University is the 47th in Ukraine by the number of papers in Scopus
(the 54th
in the last year) with Hirsh Index 9 (7 in the last year).
The number of developed innovative technologies and projects are
more than 50, 6 of them were submitted for the contest of scientific-
technical developments for Armed Forces of Ukraine and Defence
Department in December, 2014.
19 patents were obtained and 15 applications for inventions were
submitted in 2014 .
