2. ike Tyson
M
Mike Tyson is known for many things (such as his
professional boxing titles) and of course, that face tattoo.
Unfortunately the former heavyweight champion of the
world is also known for another, less admirable incident
that took place back in 1991. Tyson, then 25, was
accused of rape by 18-year-old Desiree Washington. He
admitted to having sex with her, but he claimed that it was
consensual.
The jury did not agree, and Tyson was convicted of the
rape charge and sentenced to six years in prison and an
additional four years probation. After three years behind
bars, Tyson was released and registered as a sex
offender in his home state of Nevada. He is also required
to register as a sex offender in any state that he travels to
prior to his arrival. Other states he is registered in include
Hawaii, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Paul R
Paul Reubens, also known as Pee Wee Herman, has had
a couple shameful run-ins with the law. In 1991, he was
busted for indecent exposure when undercover officers
caught him exposing himself in an adult movie theater in
Sarasota, FL.
Then, in 2001, officials raided Reubens’ home and seized
images from his computer that included minors engaging
in sexual acts. He appeared in court in 2004 and pleaded
guilty to a misdemeanor obscenity charge and was
sentenced to three years probation. He was also ordered
to register as a sex offender while on probation.

4. R. Kelly
R. Kelly never had to register as a sex offender, but
we still had to include his highly publicized sex
scandal on our list. Unless you were living under a
rock in 2003, then surely you can recall the incident:
Kelly made headlines after he was arrested and
indicted on 21 counts of child pornography, which
were later reduced to 14 counts.
If convicted, he would have faced 15 years in prison,
a $100,000 fine, and mandatory sex offender
registration in the state of Illinois. A Chicago jury
found Kelly not guilty on all counts, but the singer will
always be known for this infamous sex scandal.

5. Watkins
Ian
Ian Watkins is the former frontman of the Welsh rock group,
Lostprophets, and he is undoubtedly the most heinous
scumbag on this list. In December, Watkins was sentenced
to 35 years in prison after being found guilty of multiple
child sex offenses including one count of attempting to rape
a baby. Disgusting, right?
It was also reported that Watkins showed no empathy or
remorse for his detestable actions, and UK Detective Peter
Doyle described Watkins as “the most dangerous sex
offender” he’d ever encountered. Doyle also predicted that
further allegations will continue to emerge while the singer
is incarcerated.

6. Sparks
Shane
If you ever watched the MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew,
then you’ll recognize Shane Sparks as one of the show’s
judges. The emmy-winning choreographer was arrested in
2009 on charges related to lewd acts upon a child.
In 2011, Sparks pled no contest to one felony count of
unlawful sex with a minor under 16, and he was sentenced
to 270 days in jail and five years probation. In addition,
Sparks was also slapped with a mandatory 52-session sex
offender counseling program.

7. y Jones
Jeffre
Although he looks much older and weathered in his mugshot,
most readers probably recognize Jeffrey Jones from his role
as the school principal in the cult classic Ferris Bueller’s Day
Off. Jones originally registered as a sex offender in 2003
after he pled no contest to hiring a teenage boy to pose for
explicit photos.
But then, in 2010, Jones was busted again when he failed to
update his sex offender registry information. All registered
sex offenders are legally required to update their information
periodically, and failing to do so can lead to additional
charges. In Jones’ case, his negligence resulted in a felony
charge, for which he received 250 hours of community
service.

In 2002, rapper Mystikal (real name Michael Tyler) was
arrested and charged with aggravated assault and
extortion. Allegedly, he and two of his bodyguards made
his former hairdresser perform oral sex on them, telling
her that if she didn’t comply, they’d turn her into police for
cashing unauthorized checks from Mystikal’s bank
account.
The charges were reduced and the rapper pled guilty to
sexual battery, but police later revealed that they’d
discovered a videotape of the alleged assault. This led to
a lengthy back-and-forth dispute between the prosecution
and the defense over the charges. Eventually, the rapper
was sentenced to six years in prison and was required to
register as a sex offender in the state of Louisiana.

Roman P
Back in 1978, famed Director Roman Polanski was
charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor
after he allegedly drugged a teenage girl and had sex
with her after a photoshoot in actor Jack Nicholson’s
home. Polanski served 42 days behind bars for his
crime, but after his release he got word that a
California judge was planning to send him back to the
slammer.
Instead of accepting his fate, the convicted sex
offender fled to France. His French citizenship
protects him from being extradited back to the U.S,
but a bench warrant was issued for his arrest many
years ago. So, if Polanski ever did choose to return on
his own accord, he’d be in big trouble.

10. e Taylor
Lawrenc
In 2011, former New York Giants linebacker, Lawrence Taylor,
was declared a level 1 sex offender. Offenders in this category
are considered low-risk, and they are not required to have their
photos posted on the online sex offender registry.
Taylor was originally deemed a level 2 offender after pleading
guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing an underage
prostitute, but his defense attorneys were successfully able to
get his punishment reduced. Taylor was also sentenced to six
years probation.

11. Margera
Vincent
Vincent Margera, also known as “Don Vito,” was
one of the stars of MTV’s hit reality show, Viva La
Bam. In 2007, Margera was convicted of two
counts of sexual assault on a child after he
allegedly groped two girls age 12 and 14.
Margera was sentenced to 10 years probation,
and he was required to register as a sex offender
for a minimum of 10 years, but could be required
to register for life.

In 2011, former Penn State football coach, Jerry Sandusky,
was indicted on 40 counts of sex crimes against children, all of
whom were young boys. The indictment came after a threeyear child molestation investigation that began in 2008. The
worst part was that Sandusky targeted and groomed victims
whom he met through The Second Mile, a youth charity
organization that HE founded in 1977.
The charges against Sandusky included involuntary deviate
sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, endangering the
welfare of a child, indecent assault, and many more. By the
time he went to trial, the charges had increased and the jury
found him guilty on 45 of 48 counts. In October of 2012,
Sandusky was sentenced to 60 years behind bars with
eligibility for parole after 30 years. However, being that he is
already in his late 60s, it’s highly likely that the former coach
will die in prison.

13. Epstein
Jeffrey
Jeffrey Epstein is famous for funding scientific research,
most of which is geared toward new discoveries in medicine
and medical treatment. Some of the researchers he has
supported have even gone on to win the Nobel Prize. So,
judging from his resume and philanthropic work, Epstein
kind of looks like a saint, right?
Well, yeah that may have been the case if it weren’t for his
sex offender status. Yup, in 2008, Epstein began serving an
18-month prison sentence after he was convicted of
soliciting an underage prostitute. He remained behind bars
for 13 months and is now a registered sex offender his
home state of Florida.

14. atterson
Ruben P
Ruben Patterson is a former NBA star who played for
several professional teams including the Los Angeles
Lakers, the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Denver
Nuggets. Unfortunately, his basketball skills are
overshadowed by a long list of off-court incidents. In
2000, Patterson was accused of attempting to rape his
children’s nanny. He pled guilty to the charge, and was
sentenced to 15 days behind bars and two years
probation.
He was also required to register as a sex offender, but
that wasn’t the end of his legal troubles. In 2001, he was
convicted of misdemeanor assault after he attacked a
man outside an Ohio nightclub. Patterson was then
arrested again in 2002 for felony domestic abuse, and
once more in 2010 for drunk driving. Yikes Patterson . . .
get it together!
