ITT-Information Technology Training is a part of education and training for the
Chartered Accountancy course and it is mandatory for a CA student to complete
the 100 hrs. IT training from any of the ITT centers established at regional Offices/
branches which are affiliated by the ICAI.

3. Eligibility for the training programme
Students who are registered for IPCC.
Students who have registered for the Intermediate Course and completed
their article training .
Students who have already registered for Intermediate Course and then
appeared in professional education (examination – II) and then converted to
IPCC.
Students who have registered for the professional education (Course – II) and
then switching over / switched over to IPCC.
Students who have initially registered for the professional education (Course –
II) and then switched over to Professional Competence Course (PCC) and
then to IPCC.
Students who have registered initially for Professional Competence Course
but then switched over to IPCC.
4. How to register
Collect form from
the nearest
branch of ICAI
Take the print of
acknowledgment
slip & demand
draft.
Fill online form on the
respective regional website
(NIRC,WIRC,EIRC,CIRC
etc.)
Make a demand draft in
favor of "Information
Technology Centre or Branch
of ICAI“.
5. Duration of the training
The fresh batches shall start in the first week of each month. Students are
required to undergo 100 Hours ITT with any branch. The branches can follow a
teaching module of 3-5 hours per day, covering 100 hours in maximum 40 days
including Sundays. The board of studies can change this training plan.
A student should not appear for the final online examination before he/she
completes the minimum training period prescribed in the training programme.

7. Marks evaluation pattern in ITT

The module test may comprise of objective type questions as well as short
questions.
The duration of the module test will be one hour. Evaluation of the module
test is to be done by the centre faculty.
A student is required to pass both modules tests by securing at least
50% marks in individual test.
