1. A visual inspection of your ear and ear canal. The purpose of
this test is to determine the overall health of your ear and ear

series of sounds at a variety of volumes. This test will determine
the “threshold” at which you can hear various frequencies of
sound.

speech.

The results of your tests will be recorded on a graph called an
