• Feminism in Pakistan is a set of movements aimed at
defining, establishing, and defending equal political,
economic, and social rights and equal opportunities
for women in Pakistan. It is the pursuit of women's
rights within the society of Pakistan.

9. Aurat March 2019
• Aurat March 2019 was one of the most exciting
feminist events in recent years.
• Women belonging to different social classes,
regions, religions, ethnicities and sects came
together on a common platform to protest the
multiple patriarchies that control, limit and
constrain their self-expression and basic rights.
10. Quaid-e-Azam said:
• “No Nation can rise to the height of glory unless your
women is side by side with you.”
• “There are two powers in the world; one is the sword
and the other is the pen. There is a great competition
and rivalry between the two. There is a third power
stronger than both and that is the women”.
13. Valuing a girl child
• One-third of all children in the world
live in South Asia with unequal
opportunities. Girls, in particular, face
gender-specific barriers, biases, and
are vulnerable to multiple levels of
discrimination due to pervasive
norms and harmful practices. These,
in turn, determine the value of the
girl child in society.

• Back in the days girls were buried alive just because of
the sole reason that they were just “GIRLS” and that
they bring shame to the family.
• With the advent of Islam, things were never the same
and women were given their rights.
• We Muslims, all should understand the equalism of
both men and women because we have the great
example of our Holy Prophet (PBUH) who never
distinguished between men and women.
15. Hazrat Khadija(R.A), A great
Example
• If we could agree that there exists a pure
definition of the word feminist then I would like
to introduce you to Islam's first feminist i.e
Hazrat Khadija(RA).
• She was the first wife of Holy Prophet (PBUH) a
shining example of post modern women.
• She was among strong and independent
Muslim women, I see her as one of the finest
examples of modern feminism in action.
• In a society dominated by men , she excelled as
a women in male dominated society.
16. Hazrat Khadija as a business women
• After her fathers death she inherited her fathers skills at that time in
history.
• She took ever the business and traded goods from Mecca to Syria to
Yemen.
• which is a great example that you cannot stop a women from
working or let her sit at home.
