1. TASK 2 How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
2. As we see here, the heroine image we are presented to appeals to feminist audiences where we see the change in roles of man killer to woman killer. However this representation of woman killing man is seen as fantasy (Sin City), it is a way of showing that women are against sexism and are prepared to take action. This video shows how this girls thoughts revolve around how she does not accept the female way of being.
3. This member of the band is not your usual 'star image', whereas according to the theory of Richard Dyer, she is a real person however she is not constructed out of a range of materials, e.g. Advertising, magazines, as well as films, etc. This girl has an audience of young males even without a 'star image' seeing that the alternative and unique style of her is not found in everyday's popular star image. The image which is trying to be put across is a rebellious and possibly angry message in order to sell themselves for their talent instead of their image.

5. Again, here we see a form of aggression from a females point of view and the video continues appealing to young audiences and subverting the stereotypical male killer. Another reason this would appeal to young audiences is because of the semi- graphic murders where the Sin City effect of blood is shown boldly.
6. Three steps are shown in the video as we see, these three leading areas take the audience through a misleading sexual scene where we think the girl has a certain attraction. Their close proxemics in the first picture is a moment that appeals to young audiences seeing that there is a form of seduction, therefore “sex sells”. In the next step we only see their silhouettes which keeps the audience more in suspense about what is going to happen. As an outcome the audience is shocked with an excess and graphic squirts of blood.
