19. Student Attendance
•HJUHSD
requires 90 percent attendance
each year for students to participate
in graduation ceremonies.
•The
90 percent attendance rule means
that students
cannot miss more than 18 days of
school per year.
•Student
absences because of illness,
doctor’s appointments or other medical
reasons will not count against the 90
percent requirement if cleared by a
note from the doctor’s office.
20. Off Campus Eligibility Criteria
Students will have:

more than 12 total tardies per
semester
•90% attendance
•No more than 15 discipline points or
major violations resulting in a 5 day
suspension
•The minimum number of units completed
for graduation
•No violations in the Citizenship Policy
(2 U’s, 2 F’s, below a 2.0 G.P.A)
