Footnotes
HIBAAYEB (GB) sat a patient pocket, under a good hold, while tracking the pacesetter, continued to bide time, in relatively the same position until the
quarter pole, turned for home, with a newly-created opening along the inside awaiting her, was asked for a response and eagerly drove through, worked her
way to a clear advantage before reaching the eighth pole, despite having drifted outward a path or two, then dug in stubbornly under good handling to
preserve the decision. GIANTS PLAY was unhurried from the two path throughout most of the opening mile, was forced to be kept on hold, lacking clear
sailing as the field approached the top of the stretch, initially followed the winner from a slight distance behind, ducked inward for better racing room in the
vicinity of the eighth pole, kicked in with good energy after completing the maneuver and finished willingly to secure the place. CHEETAH (GB) stumbled
badly at the start, was allowed to settle into stride and quickly taken over to the inside, sat well reserved along there down the backstretch, left the rail to
take up residence in the two path at the half mile pole, was asked to pick up the pace late on the far turn, swung four wide into the stretch and commenced
to rally in earnest, displayed a good kick down the center of the course, narrowly missing out on place honors. BELLE WATLING (CHI) left the starting gate
under a firm hold, gradually moved up to establish control, tucked along the rail once sufficiently clear, showed the way, well rated and only loosely pressed,
felt pressure for the initial time leading the competition to the quarter pole, drifted off the rail after being frantically cross reined, leaving the inside exposed,
came under assault from the inside and the outside soon afterwards, held her ground for an additional furlong before backing away. TARRIP rated attending
the pace from the outside to upper stretch, got out finished. LA LUNA DE MIEL (GER) three wide around the second turn, was roused in upper stretch,
lacked the necessary response, was taken in hand in the vicinity of the sixteenth pole as CHEETAH GIRL crossed over, weakened steadily thereafter.

GIANTS PLAY was unhurried from the two path throughout most of the opening mile, was forced to be kept on hold, lacking clear sailing as the field approached the top of the stretch, initially followed the winner from a slight distance behind, ducked inward for better racing room in the vicinity of the eighth pole, kicked in with good energy after completing the maneuver and finished willingly to secure the place. CHEETAH (GB) stumbled badly at the start, was allowed to settle into stride and quickly taken over to the inside, sat well reserved along there down the backstretch, left the rail to take up residence in the two path at the half mile pole, was asked to pick up the pace late on the far turn, swung four wide into the stretch and commenced to rally in earnest, displayed a good kick down the center of the course, narrowly missing out on place honors. BELLE WATLING (CHI) left the starting gate under a firm hold, gradually moved up to establish control, tucked along the rail once sufficiently clear, showed the way, well rated and only loosely pressed, felt pressure for the initial time leading the competition to the quarter pole, drifted off the rail after being frantically cross reined, leaving the inside exposed, came under assault from the inside and the outside soon afterwards, held her ground for an additional furlong before backing away. TARRIP rated attending the pace from the outside to upper stretch, got out finished. LA LUNA DE MIEL (GER) three wide around the second turn, was roused in upper stretch, lacked the necessary response, was taken in hand in the vicinity of the sixteenth pole as CHEETAH GIRL crossed over, weakened steadily thereafter. 2nd Place horse sold through Keeneland Association, Inc.
