  1. Ruim 3 jaar geleden is Pompkracht opgericht door de bedenker Hendrik Witteveen. Hendrik Witteveen is ook de huidige eigenaar / algemeen directeur. Hij was al jaren actief in de tankstationbranche, toen hij het idee had dat er in deze branche behoefte was aan een specialist in personeelsvraagstukken. Dhr. Witteveen heeft uitgebreid marktonderzoek gedaan alvorens zijn ideeen te concretiseren en daadwerkelijk te starten met POMPKRACHT. Het idee bleek een “ schot in de roos” te zijn. De tankstationbranche is een wereld op zichzelf, met zijn eigen cultuur, werkwijze en gewoontes. Ook de personeelsproblematiek op een tankstation vraagt een gedegen en gerichte aanpak. Een specialisme voor een gespecialiseerde organisatie. POMPKRACHT is in een paar jaar tijd uitgegroeid tot een erkende en professionele speler op de markt voor capaciteitsvraagstukken voor de tankstationbranche. Een succesvolle specialist dankzij een doordachte aanpak op het gebied van recruiting en matching, waarbij de “lat” al bij de eerste intake op een hoog niveau wordt gelegd. Uitgangspunt is en blijft de situatie op het pompstation. Gedegen kennis van de tankstations (zowel van de individuele tankstations, als van de overkoepelende organisaties) zijn voor POMPKRACHT het vertrekpunt van de dienstverlening. Een toegankelijke, heldere website en een geavanceerd systeem op het gebied van recruiting en matching en uiteraard de betrokkenheid en inzet van professionele collega’s zijn daarbij van groot belang. POMPKRACHT streeft ernaar om als specialist het bureau te zijn voor capaciteitsvraagstukken op de nationale markt van de tankstationbranche. Op ieder niveau. In iedere regio. Op het juiste moment. POMPKRACHT verwacht in 2006 ca. 70 personen te hebben gedetacheerd en daarnaast een prominente rol te spelen als adviseur in capaciteitsvraagstukken in het algemeen voor de tankstationbranche.
