Immunity to Change – 2 day CPD Workshop, London
                   November 20th and 21st, 2012

Course Information

Focus of the Workshop

The Immunity to Change workshop is for practitioners and coaches with a strong
interest in the dynamics of change, experienced coaches working with specific
methodologies who are keen to add something new to their tool kit. Some may
already use the Immunity to Change map and may have taught themselves how
to use it deductively, which will be a benefit to all participants on the course as
one of the key areas of the workshop will be sharing experiences of dealing with
change - both as individuals as well as practitioners.

The message is that the Immunity to Change process is a quick and effective way
to a starting point to overturn an immune system. As a starting point it may intrigue
the coachee and may explain why progress has not been made on an important
goal. Or, it may give insight into how something historical is impacting on and
restricting his/her current life. The objective is that the individual should feel
motivated to work on this and move forward.

Rather than going through Kegan’s full Immunity to Change certification
methodology participants have the opportunity to go through the ITC coaching
process, seeing what it looks like and selecting key elements experientially. The
workshop includes relevant theory and input, but above all the focus is for
participants to experience and work on their own change agenda, and to relate
this back to his/her work as a coach: what are the implications of this experience
when working with a client? Which parts feel comfortable, challenging, or
vulnerable?

The use of self, as ever on a PB Coaching workshop, is critical. Above all, the aim
will be for participants to be able to relate the material and experience to their
own work.
