• Starting High School, My Grades Started
Slipping.
• I Wasn’t Paying Attention In Class at All.
• My Parents Started To Get Very Concerned.
5. A Rebellious Teen…
• As I continued to let my grades slip, I started
skipping class my sophomore year.
• I was going out and seeing my boyfriend when
I should have been at school.
6. I’m Seventeen and Pregnant?!
• I found out I was pregnant at the beginning of
my Junior Year.
• It was the scariest moment of my life, until I
told my parents.
• THAT was the hardest day of my life.
7. The Journey Of Pregnancy
• As my pregnancy continued, I started facing
hardships.
• I found out that I had to pay my medical bills.
• I got a job and was working towards paying
my bills.
• Until I was put on bed rest.
8. Journey of Pregnancy
• I went into pre-term labor the first time at 26
weeks.
• The doctors immediately put me on bedrest,
because it wasn’t time for my son to come out.
• I learned quick, that whatever I did, had to be
easy, and not hard work.
• So that meant I had to quit my job.
9. The Beauty Of Parents
• When I was put on bed rest, my parents took
over my medical bills.
• I was still in Highschool but on an online
Highschool.
• When I got pregnant, I straightened up in
school.
• I ended my last two years of High school with
straight A’s.
10. Changes Came Quick
• I had to grow up quick, when my son was born
6 weeks premature on November 6th, 2012.
• Six days before my 18th birthday.
• He weighed a whopping 4 lbs 11 oz.
• The minute I saw him, my life changed.
11. Becoming A Mother Changes
Everything
• The moment my son was born, I could tell that
I was different.
• Even though I was a young mother, I took care
of my son and finished High school.
• I am currently in my second year of college.
12. My Reflection On My Life
• Some people may say that I ruined my life, by
being a careless teenager.
• I would argue with that, because I found out
the joy of being a mother.
• As well, as straightening up and getting my life
In order to get my PhD in Psychology.
13. My Son Saved My Life
• My Son will always be my motivation for doing
anything great in my life.
• I am going to college so he can have a better
life for himself, and find out that his mother
loves him enough to give him the life he wants.
• He might get ridiculed at some point in his life
about me being young, but I want him to be
able to be proud of me anyways.
