A brief information about the Industry 
• The Indian Textiles Industry has an overwhelming presence in the 
economic life of the country. 
• The sector contributes about 14 per cent to industrial production, 4 per 
cent to the gross domestic product (GDP), and 11 per cent to the 
country’s export earnings. 
• The market is expected to grow to US$ 31 billion by 2020. 
• The textiles sector has witnessed a spurt in investment during the last 
five years. 
• India’s technical textile industry is an emerging area for investments 
with good growth opportunities.
About Company 
• 4 Creations was established on 3 March, 2003. 
• The Production Facility covers areas over 18000 Sq. Feet. 
• 4 Creations work closely with their clients to ensure that the products 
meet client’s standards. 
Awards and Achievements 
 They have got an award of HIGH STANDARD AND QUALITY from our 
German customer since 2010. 
 They have got award of BEST PERFORMER OF THE YEAR IN TERMS 
OF PRODUCTION from Arvind Brand.

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT 
 To identify and impart need based training to all personnel in line with 
long term goals and short term requirements of the company. 
 To provide HR required for the process laid down in the process 
module. 
 To develop and maintain competency model for the personnel whose 
work affects quality in line with the policies of the company. 
 To align individual value of the personnel with organizational values.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT 
 To protect the financial interests of the company. 
 It helps in achieving the business results (Profitability). 
 Monitoring the funds, collection and payment. 
 Liaison with banks and financial institutes. 
 Controlling the inflow and outflow of cash. 
 Financial planning and mobilization of cash. 
 To see that company does not suffer from shortage of finance.
MARKETING DEPARTMENT 
 To act dynamically in areas of sales and customer satisfaction. 
 To learn the changes in the industry and keep the management 
informed. 
 To try and maximize the sales through effective marketing strategies. 
 To see to it that sales increases. 
 To develop a consumer driven marketing strategy and at the same time 
earn good returns to the company.
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT 
 To maintain plant and machinery. 
 Avoid break down during the production process. 
 To ensure a longer life span of plant and machinery. 
 To minimize operational costs through optimal 
maintenance.
QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT 
 Quality refers to the degree of perfection as perceived by 
the user of a product. 
 4 Creations is committed to total quality, and has 
implemented an efficient and stringent quality assurance 
and control system. 
 Quality is a built in feature of every 4 Creations product.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM: 
 “4 Creations Pvt Ltd does not have a dedicated and recognised marketing department” 
METHODOLOGY: 
 The methodology adopted is known as Fish bone technique or cause and effect diagram Ishikawa 
diagrams (also called fishbone diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams) are causal diagrams created 
by Kaoru Ishikawa (1968) that show the causes of a specific event. 
ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF THE PROBLEM: 
 Focus on the Customer: Marketers can spend time listening to their customers (and prospective 
customers) in order to understand their needs and wants regarding a particular product or service. 
 Monitor the Competition: Learning about, and understanding the competitive landscape is also an 
important function of the Marketing Department. 
 Brand Building: The perceptions and feelings formed about an organization, its products / services, 
and its performance is what is known as its “brand.”
Findings 
 4 Creations Pvt Ltd have introduced good labor welfare facilities which 
care the needs of workers. 
 There is well maintained attendance register and the workers are aware 
of the importance of efficient work. 
 There is a formal and official way of absenting from work even for an 
hour which helps their employers to have their leave. 
 Merchandising department mediates between the departments. 
 Sometimes, merchandising department will have to do costing and 
pricing also.
Suggestions: 
 The company has to install the new technology in terms of Software 
application programs packages for faster and better productivity. 
 The organization has to provide more motivational offer to the employees that 
enhance the productivity of the organization. 
 Management has to develop the specific program like disciplinary action and 
positive reinforcement. 
 Training with respect technical and non-technical aspects at any time is always 
an add-on to the knowledge development. 
 Proper Management style must be maintained to all the employees in order to 
maintain reporting management styles to avoid confusions of multiple 
reporting.
Conclusion: 
 The Textile industry in India traditionally after agriculture is the 
only industry that has generated huge employment for both skilled 
and unskilled labor in textiles. 
 Looking from its commanding height, 4 Creations Pvt Ltd sees 
exciting things happening today in the field of apparels and like any 
young adventure, it is eager and ready to cover new terrain. 
 Though I had a very short tag in the organization, I had a great 
experience meeting people across all the departments.

A brief information about the Industry • The Indian Textiles Industry has an overwhelming presence in the economic life of the country. • The sector contributes about 14 per cent to industrial production, 4 per cent to the gross domestic product (GDP), and 11 per cent to the country’s export earnings. • The market is expected to grow to US$ 31 billion by 2020. • The textiles sector has witnessed a spurt in investment during the last five years. • India’s technical textile industry is an emerging area for investments with good growth opportunities.
  • 4. About Company • 4 Creations was established on 3 March, 2003. • The Production Facility covers areas over 18000 Sq. Feet. • 4 Creations work closely with their clients to ensure that the products meet client’s standards. Awards and Achievements  They have got an award of HIGH STANDARD AND QUALITY from our German customer since 2010.  They have got award of BEST PERFORMER OF THE YEAR IN TERMS OF PRODUCTION from Arvind Brand.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:  “4 Creations Pvt Ltd does not have a dedicated and recognised marketing department” METHODOLOGY:  The methodology adopted is known as Fish bone technique or cause and effect diagram Ishikawa diagrams (also called fishbone diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams) are causal diagrams created by Kaoru Ishikawa (1968) that show the causes of a specific event. ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF THE PROBLEM:  Focus on the Customer: Marketers can spend time listening to their customers (and prospective customers) in order to understand their needs and wants regarding a particular product or service.  Monitor the Competition: Learning about, and understanding the competitive landscape is also an important function of the Marketing Department.  Brand Building: The perceptions and feelings formed about an organization, its products / services, and its performance is what is known as its “brand.”
  • 14. Findings  4 Creations Pvt Ltd have introduced good labor welfare facilities which care the needs of workers.  There is well maintained attendance register and the workers are aware of the importance of efficient work.  There is a formal and official way of absenting from work even for an hour which helps their employers to have their leave.  Merchandising department mediates between the departments.  Sometimes, merchandising department will have to do costing and pricing also.

Suggestions:  The company has to install the new technology in terms of Software application programs packages for faster and better productivity.  The organization has to provide more motivational offer to the employees that enhance the productivity of the organization.  Management has to develop the specific program like disciplinary action and positive reinforcement.  Training with respect technical and non-technical aspects at any time is always an add-on to the knowledge development.  Proper Management style must be maintained to all the employees in order to maintain reporting management styles to avoid confusions of multiple reporting.
  • 16. Conclusion:  The Textile industry in India traditionally after agriculture is the only industry that has generated huge employment for both skilled and unskilled labor in textiles.  Looking from its commanding height, 4 Creations Pvt Ltd sees exciting things happening today in the field of apparels and like any young adventure, it is eager and ready to cover new terrain.  Though I had a very short tag in the organization, I had a great experience meeting people across all the departments.
