Product Development Newscast 2 Script [Anchor] Welcome back to BMCN!  Thank you for tuning in.  I’m your host Ebony Coleman. Spirit Week 2010 gave students a chance to show their school spirit.  The week ended with pep rally where students had the opportunity to show case their talents and Bengal Pride.   What’s going on your community this month?     Spirit Week [Anchor] Spirit Week took place January 19-22.  On Tuesday, students kicked it off with decade day. [Scroll pictures of students dressed up] Wednesday was Wacky Tacky Day, Thursday was a student favorite- Pajama Day, and Friday was Bengal Pride day.   [Interview students about spirit week] Pep Rally [Anchor] The BMC fall sports pep rally was full of entertainment and fun.   [Video of junior band] The Arts Intercession hip hop dance class performed [Video of hip hop dance] Students showed some talents [Video of juggling] [Picture of Rap] BMC yearbook staff gave students a preview of what is to be expected at the upcoming talent show [Video of Emanuel] The day ended with a game of faculty vs. Student dodge ball. [Video of Bailey talking about the Shriners Shine 5k]  [Anchor] The Shriner Shine Run has many opportunities for community service hours, and provides you and your friends a chance to just have fun at the park.  Everyone is encourged to participate.   In other news:  Volunteers are needed for the Reedy River Run on March 1- 6.  Volunteers will be needed to help with registrations, course monitors, and other various things.  See Ms. Belt to sign up.

Volunteer [Anchor] The Heartland Hospice is looking for reliable volunteers.  Volunteers are needed for various things such as paperwork, crafts and cards for patients, household chores like painting or lawn care, or patient visits.  Details at Front Desk. Beta Convention [Anchor] The 2010 Beta Club convention went very well.  Students competed in various competitions, and for the first time… Brashier Middle College placed in the competitions.  It is the first time BMC has placed at the state level. Product Development Newscast 6 Script [Anchor] Welcome back to BMCN!  Thank you for tuning in.  I’m your host Ebony Coleman.  How did the 2nd Annual BMC Talent Show go?  This weekend looks like a rainy one, and what are your student ambassadors doing?   Talent Show [Anchor] This year’s Talent Show went very well.  There were 16 performers, this included singers, dancers, and musicians.  [Scroll clips from Talent Show]   Weather Report [Anchor] This weekend is predicted to be a wet one.  Here’s Carolyn Charping with your weather. [Carolyn] This weekend will be rainy.  Friday… Saturday… Sunday…  Random Feature [Everybody Dance Now] Clubs Often we take water for granted.  We have easy access to clean drinking water, there are many people who don’t.  The MCNC Ambassadors are raising money to refurbish a well in Liberia. The week ended with pep rally where students had the opportunity to show case their talents and Bengal Pride. What’s going on your community this month?   Spirit Week [Anchor] Spirit Week took place January 19-22. On Tuesday, students kicked it off with decade day. [Scroll pictures of students dressed up] Wednesday was Wacky Tacky Day, Thursday was a student favorite- Pajama Day, and Friday was Bengal Pride day. [Interview students about spirit week] Pep Rally [Anchor] The BMC fall sports pep rally was full of entertainment and fun.
