The Food Safety Knowledge Network (FSKN) is a joint initiative between CIES and Michigan State University to develop food safety competencies for individuals throughout the global food supply chain. The goals are to harmonize existing food safety training schemes, develop a global professional training and qualification program, and facilitate safer food production. The FSKN will identify competencies, analyze available training, and transfer knowledge to reduce barriers to trade.
