We all think we know what Service Anniversaries are. Our pre-conceived expectations have

My anniversary was a moment for me to stop and reevaluate my job and career and the relationships I’ve built here. If I were offered my job again today, I’d accept it. My milestone experience made me recommit to my company.

When my coworkers came together to share 
my milestone-experience, I realized that my life 
would be a lot less rich without them. I spend 
half of my life here. It’s a great feeling to know 
that you really belong.

REAL PRIDE OF WORK. 
My work anniversary included a retrospective of 
my achievements. I was so amazed and proud 
to see all of my recognition accomplishments in 
one place. I’ve revisited it a few times now and 
even shared it with my family. 
Milestones can build an employee’s 
confidence and pride.
I used my anniversary reward to buy a new 
bicycle I’ve had my eye on. Every time I hit the 
open road I think about what a great company 
I work for. This was the perfect gift for me, 
because I chose it. 
Milestones can show how much you 
value a worker as an individual. 
MY OWN NIRVANA.
My service award experience helped me to see 
exactly how important I am to this community 
and the work we do. It was my own ‘It’s a 
Wonderful Life’ moment. I suddenly had all this 
insight into the real contribution I have made 
over the years. It was powerful. 
Milestones can create a sense of 
achievement and meaning. 
I’VE MADE A DIFFERENCE.
I didn’t realize how much I’ve put down roots 
here. When my co-workers started sharing those 
stories, the memories came flooding back and 
I got tears in my eyes even as I was laughing. 
I could never leave this place. 
Milestones can reinforce an 
employee’s emotional commitment. 
THE AMAZING 
POWER OF MEMORY.
It was so easy to contribute a story to my co- worker’s Service Timeline. I got a reminder that helped me to not forget and it was really simple to put up a message. While I was composing it, and then reading what others wrote, I got a bit choked up. I was really reminded me what a great place this is to work. I can’t wait for my next milestone. 
Milestones can have a huge impact on everyone who reads them. 
IT WASN’T EVEN 
MY ANNIVERSARY.
I’M ON TOP OF 
THE WORLD. 
I got my service award while I was on a project 
in Tibet. It was amazing that my co-workers 
could reach out from all around the world and 
suddenly make me feel surrounded by their 
love and appreciation. The power of technology 
is amazing. 
Milestones can use technology 
to connect everyone, everywhere.
Service awards have tremendous power to highlight and reinforce the connections that make our companies strong. Our employees are all part of a mosaic of commitment, energy and emotion—supporting, inspiring and driving one another toward success.
