This document summarizes the Get Game@ZSR program at Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University, which held open game nights and tournaments featuring Xbox and PS2 games. The library director came up with the idea in 2005 and it was run by the library IT team and student staff. Events were free to students and helped promote the library as a fun space on campus while also generating positive publicity. Surveys found that students preferred Friday evenings for 3 hour gaming events and enjoyed bringing their own equipment to both open nights and tournaments.
