2. BIOGRAPHY
Diego Budicin, is a modern italian guitarist born in 1990.
In 2010/2011, Diego has the opportunity to leave for two tours in U.S. and Europe. Both experiences allow him to deepen his knowledge of the English language.
After the victory of Steve Vai Contest in 2012, Diego specializes in the production of media content, resulting in a partnership agreement with the Youtube platform.
The growth of his Youtube channel has been significant since the victory of the contest, which allowed an increase in the number of subscribers from 600 to 2,000, only during the last 18 months activity, reaching a total number of 200,000 views.
Diego worked as a teacher for GuitarMasterclass.net, the platform for which he produces musical material for educational audio / video, on a monthly basis.
The activity on the Youtube channel of Diego was based on the promotion of music content such as video performances, promotion of events and video test products.
In particular, the most successful videos produced by the young guitarist are those promotional made for Ibanez, Zoom and Laney:
a video dedicated to Zoom and Schlagwerk and another one dedicated to the Laney IRT Studio reamping.

3. “..music is my game.”
Diego is currently working with Mogar Music, international trader of
music instruments. The young guitarist is officially endorsing Ibanez
and Laney worldwide.
For Mogar Music, Diego is also a demonstrator with regard to the abo-ve
mentioned brands and regularly participates in the most important
events on the Italian territory (Music Italy Show, Sarzana, SHG) during
which he is hired as a clinician.
Diego still collaborating with MusicOff and Spaghetti Guitar Tools,
two well recognized all-news music platform, producing the “How to
Play” video series, about some of the greatest guitar licks all time.

4. 2008: Selected guitarist for “Melevisione” TV format on RAI3.
2010: Winner of the “Primo concorso nazionale per chitarra elettrica ed acustica”, Diego was invited to play in the “Battaglia delle chitarre” live show in S.Bonifacio (Verona) jamming with Ricky Portera (guitarist of Lucio Dalla) and Mario Schilirò (guitarist of Zucchero) before an audience of 1000 people.
2011: Semifinalist on “Canevel Music Lab” national contest, Diego played his own music at Otel Varietè (Firenze)
2011: Winner of the “Chickenfoot” national guitar contest, Diego was invited to play on Rock TV Italy during DataBase format directed by Pino Scotto.
2012: Winner of the “MusicOff Steve Vai” international guitar contest, Diego jammed live with Steve Vai at Atlantico Live - Rome - 11/11/12, in front of over 2000 people.
2012: Touring guitarist for Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders) with Pino Liberti on drums.
2013: Official endorser for Ibanez Guitars and Laney Amplifiers

6. Diego è stato selezionato dal regista inglese James Smith per il suo progetto-documentario su sei storie di altrettanti chitarristi Europei.
Nel febbraio 2011 Diego viene selezionato per le semifinali del Canevel Music Lab, importante contest musicale che porterà il ventenne chitarrista ad esibirsi sul palco dell’ Otel Varietè di Firenze,
presentando i suoi brani originali.
Nel mese di giugno 2011 Diego viene contattato dall’agenzia AmsterdamMusicPromotors per una audizione ad Amsterdam il 2 di Agosto. Dall’audizione è nata una collaborazione continuativa con AMP e con il titolare Martin Philippus, che prevede la realizzazione di un tour europeo (Olanda, Belgio, Germania e UK) a partire dal mese di novembre 2011, accompagnato da affermate blues band statunitensi ed inglesi.
Nel mese di Agosto 2011, Diego diventa endorser di KLDguitar, azienda cinese specializzata nella realizzazione di effetti ed amplificatori
